To create an improved experience for students on campus, ASK La Trobe on the Melbourne Campus will go cashless as of 7 December this year.
This means ASK La Trobe will no longer accept cash and you will need to use credit or debit cards when you make payments relating to education related charges. This will allow you to make payments 24 hours a day, 7 days a week online, and reduce the hassle of waiting in a queue.
In addition to card payments, student have several flexible payment options:
- tuition fees can be paid online via StudentOnline
- automated telephone payments are available for tuition fees, including BPay
- tuition fees can also be paid at the post office
- payments for transactions such as accommodation, parking permits, academic transcripts, replacement ID cards can be made online via OneStop.
The ASK La Trobe cashless implementation will initially take place at the Melbourne Campus only. However, it is important to note that all on-campus retail outlets including food and beverage stores and the bookshop will continue to accept cash.
