Come and hear the real life stories of Raj Khetarpal – a People, Talent and Career Strategist and former Head of HR at Open Universities Australia – at a free workshop this month!
Raj came to Australia in 1998 as an international student to undertake a Master’s with the intention of working in HR, but upon completion of his studies, his road to success was not a smooth one. Between 2000 and 2002, Raj tried his hardest, but couldn’t find a job in the Human Resource Management (HRM) market and decided instead to focus and direct his skills into a non-HR role.
At this workshop, Raj will share his experience of breaking through into HRM. He pledges to help others, especially skilled migrants, new international students who may not have the ‘Australian experience’, and others who are in a similar situation as he was in the early 2000s.
This is a very common story among international students and migrants, so come and be inspired by Raj’s story and learn how you can kick-start your career in Australia.
