La Trobe International, The Confucius Institute at La Trobe, La Trobe Student Union, La Trobe International Student Associate and La Trobe Student Wellbeing are pleased to announce that Multicultural Week at the Melbourne Campus will be held from 9 – 11 August.
La Trobe International is looking for student volunteers to help run the event or participate in performances on 9 August. Activities and performances will be held from 12.00-2.00pm in the Agora at the Melbourne Campus.
Most volunteers on the day will be helping out with information tables for Confucius Institute, the International Student Services team or the Study Abroad team, or giving away FREE food to students.
We are also seeking student volunteers for cultural performances on the day. You are welcome to sing a song, do a solo or group dance or play a music instrument. Be creative and we will get in touch with you for rehearsals.
Please complete this survey by COB on Monday 18 July to confirm your interest in being a volunteer. Please ensure you check your availability carefully, as it will be hard for us to change once we have finalised the performance schedule. A La Trobe International representative will be in contact with all students who have confirmed their availability to finalise the specific times, confirm your responsibilities, and provide briefing notes before the event. If you are volunteering to provide a cultural performance, you will be invited for a rehearsal closer to the date. For further information, feel free to email Helen Zhang at firstname.lastname@example.org.
