FREE resume check and tax help in the city

Resume help_insetThe Study Melbourne Student Centre (SMSC) is a ‘one stop shop’ where international students in Victoria can access a range of free support, information and welfare services. They offer support and referrals, and information about health matters, general wellbeing, legal services, accommodation, financial management and safety.

Their support staff can be contacted via the 24-hour free phone line (1800 056 449) or by visiting the office during business hours, Monday to Friday. Their services are free and confidential and interpreters are available on request. Their office is conveniently located near Southern Cross station, at 599 Little Bourke Street in Melbourne.

The Centre is now offering one-on-one free resume checking sessions every Tuesday from 1.30pm – 4.00pm. No booking is required.

In addition, Tax Help volunteers will be at the Centre every Tuesday from 1.00pm to 5.00pm between 2 August and 10 October. To book or to enquire, please call 1800 056 449 or email
