Language and Cultural Exchange (LACE) – applications now open for 2017

Are you interested in learning more about the music, food, film, literature, festivals and traditions of another culture? Do you need to practice your English or another language? Would you like to do this in a relaxed environment and make new friends at the same time?

The Language and Cultural Exchange program (LACE) is a signature program run by La Trobe International at Melbourne campuses. The LACE program aims to bring La Trobe students and staff members together to exchange language skills and share one another’s cultures.

The LACE program provides you with the perfect opportunity to explore your interest in a foreign culture or learn more about Australia while at the same time expanding your horizons and international networks. We put you in contact with other students and/or staff members interested in learning more about your language and country. Together you decide where, when and how your language exchange will take place. After you have registered, we organise many events and activities each semester where you’ll get to meet other LACE participants and have a good time with an international flair.

Applications are now open for 2017 and only take 5 minutes to complete: Register for ‘Language and Cultural Exchange’ (LACE)

For further information of the program, visit our website or download the LACE program guide. If you have any queries, please email studentsupport@latrobe.edu.au

We hope you will join us in the LACE program this year.
