The LTSU Student Advocacy Service can help with many different academic, administrative and welfare-related problem situations. They will explain the University’s Policies and Procedures and let you know what your rights and responsibilities are. They also help students prepare for important meetings and hearings and can even go to the meeting or hearing with you.
Student Advocacy top five tips:
- Check your student email EVERY DAY, even over semester break.
- ALWAYS check your pockets before entering an exam.
- It’s ok to ASK FOR HELP.
- Speak to La Trobe International, Student Advocacy or the Counselling Service as soon as you realise there is a problem situation.
- It’s ok to ASK FOR HELP – did we say that already?
