The ACSF is jointly organized by La Trobe University, through the Confucius Institute, and Chongqing University. The Forum is designed to give a balanced view on a specific issue for both Chinese and Australian students as well as gaining insight into their respective cultures. The program this year will be a one-way program – we will send up to 20 La Trobe students to Chongqing University in China to participate in the program from 20st November to 2nd December 2017. During this period, the students will take part into a series of academic and cultural activities.
The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) will provide funds to cover all the in-country program costs, including students’ accommodation, meals, seminars, in-country language courses, visits, excursions and program related group local transportation. The students may apply for a Mobility Grant for participating in the program.
The theme of this year’s program is “The role of youth in China-Australia Bilateral Relations” For more information about ACSF 2017, please visit the website.
This Forum is now open to all current La Trobe students (both domestic and international) and applications will close at 5pm, Friday 4th September.
