Japanese student volunteers needed

Every year we are visited by physiotherapy students from Kobe College of Medical Welfare in Japan.  The students undertake a 4 day course within the discipline and learn about physiotherapy in Australia.  We also expose the students to other activities such as Australian Rules football and a tour of the wildlife reserve.  In previous years we have had Japanese international students come and talk (10-15 minutes) to the students about their experience studying in Australia, as well as assisting with the wildlife reserve tour.

The talk to the students would take place on Wednesday August 30th from 3:30pm.

There is also an opportunity to join in a Wildlife sanctuary tour to assist with translation on Monday 28th August:

  • 1pm-2:30pm      Wildlife sanctuary tour (for Group 1)
  • 2:30pm – 4pm   Wildlife sanctuary tour (For Group 2)

Students will be provided with Coles/Myer voucher as a token of our appreciation for their time.

If you are a Japanese student who can help, please contact Tania Pizzari on t.pizzari@latrobe.edu.au or phone 9479 5872.
