La Trobe international students will benefit from 3 grants! – Free soccer match and BBQ

La Trobe was successful in winning 3 grants from the Victorian Government (Study Melbourne) to support international students wellbeing!

These are the grants we won:

  • La Trobe Innovation and Entrepreneurship Foundry was successful in winning a grant to support a “Working in Australia Mentoring Program”. This project will put the School of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences at the forefront for international student welfare, industry training and career success.
  • La Trobe Sport and Melbourne City Football Club were successful in winning a grant to run a social inclusion program for international students through football activities with the club. See below details for our first event!
  • La Trobe International Student Services will partner with Women’s Health in the North to implement a female international students sexual and reproductive health awareness and advocacy project.

We are sure these grants will allow La Trobe to strengthen and enhance the international student experience.
