Welcome to 2020

We hope you enjoyed your holidays and are ready to start your studies in Semester 1, beginning 2 March 2020.

La Trobe University is currently open from Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm, if you need help with enrolment or timetabling you can get support via Ask La Trobe, or call them on 1300 52 8762.

While you wait for your classes to start, you can start to prepare with the following tips:

Update your details in your StudentOnLine

Have you moved to new accommodation? Changed your number? Have you added your overseas address in the home address section? Have your emergency contact details changed? Remember that this is part of your international student visa condition. To update your details click here: StudentOnLine

Enrol for 2020

This will guarantee your spot in your subjects, and you will have greater chances to select your preferred timetable. As an international student, it is a requirement of your student visa that you complete your studies within the time stated on your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). Depending on your course, generally you will need to maintain a full-time enrolment of 120 credit points (8 subjects) per year or 60 credit points (4 subjects) per compulsory semester.

To re-enrol, you will need to select subjects. Use the Subjects page to find details on core and elective subjects. If you need your study plan go to the University Handbook. You can read our Steps to enrolment/re-enrolment for instructions on how to enrol. If you’re still having trouble, view Can’t enrol in StudentOnLine FAQ for guided assistance.

Select your Timetable

Allocate+ Allocation Adjustment mode opens over two days and times are staggered by School. Find timetable dates information for your school now.

Check Statement of Account

After enrolling in 2020 subjects, you can generate a Statement of Account. This will provide the exact payment due date and census date. If you are waiting for money to be transferred from overseas or for a bank loan, these dates can help you prepare in advance. You can generate a free Statement of Account yourself using the Finance section of StudentOnLine.
