International Student Welfare Project

batyr ISWP

Calling all international students!

batyr is a for-purpose preventative mental health organisation, created and driven by young people, for young people.

Working with the support of Study Melbourne, batyr has teamed up with Meld Magazine to develop a peer-to-peer university mental health program for international students and is looking for international students to lend their voices and help in the design and development of this new International Student Welfare project, as much as possible.

Over the next two months, batyr will be delivering three digital program workshops, inviting international students from across Victoria to have your say and share what you would like to see in this new program.

As there are limited places, you must complete an Expression of Interest form to apply to attend a 2 hour digital program development workshop.

Program Development Workshop Dates:

  • Thursday 14th of May 2020
  • Thursday 28th of May 2020
  • Thursday 18th of June 2020

*The workshops will be run by trained batyr facilitators via “Zoom” and if successful, you will only need to attend one of the above sessions.
